Human Resources Specialist

Job Summary

As a Human Resources Specialist for Abercrombie & Fitch Co., you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation of HR strategies across assigned business areas in Germany and Austria. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving business results through talent management, career development, and compliance management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
  • Provide guidance on company policies and procedures
  • Advises and administers disciplinary action utilizing the Documentation & Termination System
  • Assists with policy development and specific country policy updating and communication
  • Ensures stores are operating in a manner compliant with applicable laws and policies through an ongoing training and audit program
  • Partners with store management to implement and maintain initiatives that will positively impact business results
  • Negotiations with works council and joint works council including the drafting of company agreements
  • Attending works council and joint works council meetings
  • Support for works council and joint works council communication

Requirements

  • Fluent in German and English
  • BA Degree
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically and provide analysis and risk assessment
  • Ability to support and thrive in a changing environment
  • Ability to influence others
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Labor relations knowledge
