About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our Field Task Force Team, responsible for the installation and commissioning of our mobile harbor cranes. As a Service Technician, you will be part of a dynamic team that sets the standard for excellence in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installation and commissioning of crane systems, including assembly of crane components and connection of electrical components in accordance with safety regulations.
- Prepare and submit project reports, IBS documentation, and error reports to the project management team.
- Conduct on-site meetings with customers to discuss project details and coordinate with local representatives.
- Ensure that our cranes meet quality standards during final acceptance, documenting safety-relevant test results, preparing final reports, updating revision plans, and reporting errors to the quality and project management teams.
Requirements
- Completed training as an electrician or mechatronics technician with a strong understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Ability to lead a construction site after a thorough familiarization period.
- Desirable: Qualification for crane inspection and lifting equipment inspection, or willingness to obtain this qualification with our support.
- Knowledge of programmable control systems, such as S7.
- Excellent English language skills and good German language skills, with additional languages a plus.
- Ability to work at heights and be prepared for extended periods of travel worldwide.
