Freight Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly analytical and customer-obsessed Freight Business Development Manager to join our Amazon Transportation Services team in Munich. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for nurturing and growing our existing portfolio of shippers through relationship building, engagement activities, and ensuring a great shipper experience.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a high level of engagement from our shippers through consultative selling and internal stakeholder management.
- Be the voice of the customer to guide product development and iterations, identifying and leading new commercial initiatives to solve customer pain points and improve shipper experience.
- Lead by example and coach other team members to ensure success as a team.
You will be based at one of our corporate sites, with visibility of every part of the shipping process. You will look after all elements of our partner relationships, from getting contracts in place to cross- and upselling new services and keeping track of performance.
About the TeamAmazon Transportation Services (ATS) is a diverse team that plays a central role in our success. We use air, sea, and road transport, as well as sortation centers equipped with the latest technology, to help Amazon's transport run at maximum efficiency. Our team captures data and uses it to drive decisions, making Amazon more innovative and efficient. We put safety first, as our people are our priority.
Requirements- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience in business development, partner development, sales, or alliances management.
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and German.
- Master's degree or equivalent.
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
- Advanced proficiency in an additional language (written and verbal) such as French, Spanish, or Italian.
