Senior System Administrator - Frankfurt - FinTech

Our esteemed client, a leading global provider of trading technology, is seeking a highly skilled Senior System Administrator to join their team in Frankfurt. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a 24/7, highly resilient, low latency high performance platform.

The Company:

Our client is a well-established Fin-Tech/Trading Platform that provides firms on both the buy- and sell-side with technology, services, and tools. They offer a comprehensive platform that connects businesses, banks, and financial institutions, enabling efficient and secure trading.

The Job:

  • Lead the architecture, deployment, and management of infrastructure systems, including servers, networks, and storage.
  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud and on-premise solutions to ensure scalability and availability.
  • Monitor and optimize infrastructure stability, security, and performance to support business goals.
  • Implement new technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
  • Mentor and guide other engineers.
  • Continuously develop skills and contribute to team success.

The Candidate:

  • Extensive expertise in System Engineering/Administration with Linux.
  • Proven track record in Infrastructure Automation (Ansible, Saltstack).
  • Experience designing, creating, and maintaining scalable infrastructure.
  • Scripting with Python/Bash or similar.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills paired with strong ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Knowledge of networks, storage, and visualization.
  • Experience in a Cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Strong English and communication skills.
