About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Professional to join our team at AOK Niedersachsen. As a Tax Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of tax-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the AOK Niedersachsen team in the legal evaluation of tax-related cases, particularly in the context of statutory health insurance.
- Collaborate with our Tax Law Specialist to review and assess tax-relevant cases submitted by our departments, providing expert advice to department representatives on tax matters.
- Monthly, you will evaluate creditors, perform account reconciliations, and ensure the accuracy of financial statements.
- You will be responsible for preparing and submitting monthly VAT returns, as well as supporting the preparation of annual tax returns and external audits.
- Additionally, you will evaluate internal insurance policy documents and assist with claims processing and account reconciliations.
Requirements
- You hold a degree in Taxation or a related field and have at least 3 years of experience in the field.
- You possess in-depth knowledge of tax law and accounting principles.
- You have a solid understanding of insurance law.
