Medical Assistant

Requirements

• Completed education as a Medical Assistant
• Strong skills in medical, social, and methodological competencies
• Motivation and enthusiasm for working in an interdisciplinary team
• Openness to new developments
• Flexibility, organizational skills, and ability to handle stress
• Basic computer skills and technical understanding
• Enjoyment of interacting with people
• Previous experience in the field of acute medicine or interventional cardiology is an asset, but not a requirement

Your Responsibilities

• Monitoring and care of patients before and during heart catheter examinations and interventions in the heart catheter laboratory
• Sterile and non-sterile assistance during heart catheter examinations and interventions, electrophysiological examinations and ablations, pacemaker, ICD, and CRT implantations, as well as other device implantations (e.g. Mitraclip, Triclip, LAA-, ASD-, or PFO-closure)
• Registration and documentation of examination data
• Participation in administrative tasks in the heart catheter laboratory
• Participation in the 24-hour on-call service for acute heart attacks (up to 4 days per month)
