Embedded Software Engineer

Gentex Corporation is seeking a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our team in Cologne or Erlenbach, Germany.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop embedded software for Gentex products
  • Unit testing and reviewing work products
  • Maintaining build scripts and written design documentation
  • Completing release checklists and assigned software development tasks
  • Attending scrums, project, group, and department meetings
  • Working closely with a cross-functional project team
  • Communicating and escalating key issues affecting assigned tasks
  • Meeting key internal and customer milestone dates
  • Supporting test tools and testability of Gentex products
Requirements:
  • Willingness to be a team player, dependable, motivated, problem solver, and customer oriented
  • Ability to follow company guidelines and maintain confidentiality, honesty, and integrity
  • High level of communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
