Sysmex Europe SE is seeking a dedicated EMEA Master Data and Governance Specialist to contribute to their dynamic team within the EMEA region.

As an integral part of the organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and consistency of master data across various systems. Your responsibilities will encompass maintaining Business Partner and Material Master Data within MDG/S4/ECC systems, actively participating in data cleansing activities, and updating process documentation.

You will also be responsible for preparing basic SAP reports and conducting data quality checks to maintain the integrity of the data. Your expertise will be invaluable in supporting Sysmex affiliates with MDM-related challenges, acting as a point of contact and providing guidance on best practices.

Collaboration is key in this role. You will work closely with the Global MDM team and the EMEA MDM Lead to align with data management strategies, share knowledge, and contribute to establishing robust data standards within the organization.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain Business Partner and Material Master Data in MDG/S4/ECC systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency through updates and cleansing activities.
  • Develop and update process documentation related to master data management.
  • Prepare basic SAP reports and conduct data quality checks to identify and resolve inconsistencies.
  • Serve as a point of contact for affiliates, providing guidance and solutions to MDM challenges.
  • Collaborate with the Global MDM team to align with data management strategies, share knowledge, and contribute to establishing data standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in master data management and governance within an SAP environment.
  • Familiarity with SAP MDG and S4/ECC systems is essential.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively address data challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for clear and concise interaction with stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy.
  • Knowledge of data quality best practices is highly desirable.
