**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Assistant (MTLA) to join our team at GULP - experts united. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for carrying out various laboratory activities, including centrifuging, measuring liquids, and preparing solutions and mixtures.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Conduct general laboratory activities, such as centrifuging, measuring liquids, and preparing solutions and mixtures
  • Measure the electrical conductivity of blood, urine, secretions, or gastric juice to determine the salt, acid, and base content (electrolyte measurement)
  • Adjust, clean, and sterilize instruments, containers, and measuring vessels
  • Take samples from patients or assist with the collection of blood, urine, secretions, or gastric juice
  • Analyze the PCR (polymerase chain reaction) determination method to detect certain DNA sections

**Requirements**

  • Completed training as an MTA or MTLA or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in the above-mentioned areas of responsibility is an advantage
  • Experienced handling of common MS Office programs
  • Very good written and spoken German
  • Organizational skills and a structured way of working
  • High sense of responsibility and willingness to make decisions independently
