Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Golang Backend Developer to join our team and support the growth and scaling of our business. As a member of our agile, cross-functional team, you will develop and maintain the backend to our mobile application and work at every stage of the development lifecycle, from design to provisioning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement modern microservice architectures and event-based systems, fully built on AWS stack
  • Work closely with our data engineers in implementing data pipelines for gathering and processing high volume of data collected from IoT sensors
  • Put in place monitoring for the system and ensure high performance, availability, and reliability of the services
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize features and technical debt
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of experience in building scalable distributed systems, web applications, and RESTful APIs
  • Fluent in Golang and the willingness to learn new languages
  • Sound knowledge of architecture patterns, AWS stack, Docker, and CI/CD
  • Experience with Terraform
  • Profound knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
