About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Specialist to join our team at Freudenberg. As a key member of our global matrix organization, you will be responsible for managing product groups and supplier portfolios, developing cross-location strategies, and conducting contract negotiations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage product groups and supplier portfolios, ensuring optimal supply chain performance and cost efficiency.
- Develop and implement cross-location product group strategies, aligning with company goals and objectives.
- Conduct contract negotiations, concluding agreements with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify improvement and efficiency enhancement potential in purchasing processes.
- Develop and maintain expertise in SAP MM module, eProcurement systems, and reporting tools.
Requirements
- Completed studies in industrial engineering, business administration, or a comparable field.
- Several years of experience in product group purchasing or project purchasing in an industrial company.
- Expertise in SAP MM module, eProcurement systems, and reporting tools.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken German and English, with a willingness to travel.
