Senior Site Reliability Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Analytics Platform team within our Technology division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining highly available and scalable container-based infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes or AWS ECS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement highly available and scalable container-based infrastructure using Docker and Kubernetes or AWS ECS.
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability for containerized applications.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to define best practices for containerization and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to container orchestration, networking, and storage.
  • Implement and maintain automated deployment, scaling, and monitoring solutions for containerized environments.
  • Ensure security best practices are followed, including vulnerability scanning, container hardening, and access controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute disaster recovery procedures and backup strategies.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in containerization, orchestration, and cloud technologies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) or similar role, with a focus on containerization and orchestration.
  • Proficiency in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and related services.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols relevant to containerized environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex issues in distributed systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
