Agile Software Engineer for Workflow Optimization

We are looking for a talented software developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our Prinect products. Our products optimize the workflow of our global customers by integrating traditionally separate areas of management, prepress, printing, and postpress, and automating the entire production process.

In our development team 'Prinect', 180 employees work with agile software development methods in cross-location Scrum teams on innovative projects to further develop our software and, in particular, to gradually transition to a cloud solution. The team uses a variety of technologies, including Java, Typescript, and corresponding frameworks, as well as CI/CD tools and cloud technologies.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, and document Prinect workflow components
  • Adapt and optimize existing software modules according to functional or requirement changes
  • Design and implement software architectures and ensure quality through automated tests of components and systems
  • Design and implementation of a modern build infrastructure for existing and new components and systems in the context of CI/CD
Requirements:
  • Desirable knowledge and practical experience in the mentioned technologies, as well as interest in getting involved in new topics
  • A completed technical degree, preferably in the field of computer science
  • Self-initiative, a goal-oriented working style, and the ability to analyze complex processes and conceptually depict them
  • Ability to communicate daily in German and English
