About the Role

We are seeking a Service Staff Member (m/w/d) to join our team at MEININGER Hotel Hamburg City Center. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a seamless breakfast experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain the breakfast buffet, ensuring a wide variety of food and beverage options are available to our guests.
  • Prepare simple cold dishes (cheese and cold meat platters, salads, etc.) and beverages, and provide information on ingredients and contents to guests.
  • Welcoming guests to breakfast and informing them about our food and beverage offerings.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of your work area in accordance with HACCP guidelines and our internal standards.
  • Manage and monitor inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing schedules and working flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

About You

We are looking for a team player who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and has a positive attitude. You should have:

  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Fluency in German (A2-B1 level) and good English language skills, with additional languages a plus.
