About the Role

We are seeking a Senior VR Games Quality Assurance Lead to join our highly motivated team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about VR gaming and quality assurance. The successful candidate will have experience with QA and VR games and be willing to adopt new technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create test plans and test cases using available documentation and guidance from a QA intern.
  • Analyze test requirements to identify potential ambiguities and defects to prevent early bugs.
  • Identify, categorize, and report bugs during test plan execution.
  • Participate in regular reporting of test progress and results, effectively communicating with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to risk assessment after test completion with the support of a QA intern.
  • Make release recommendations based on testing outcomes.
  • Familiar with JIRA system for adding findings and understand prioritization processes in collaboration with the Lead Game Designer.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a QA Manager in Gaming, preferably VR Gaming.
  • Passionate gamer with extensive knowledge of the VR gaming scene.
  • Solid technical knowledge and enthusiasm for QA.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience using bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA).
  • Self-organized and structured work approach, with ability to adapt to new situations.
  • Correct priority setting and effective time management skills.
  • Ability to analyze tasks and recognize inconsistencies and problems efficiently.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German a plus.
  • Solid knowledge in a scripting or programming language, as well as database usage.
