About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Security Specialist to join our team in Berlin. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating the current state of operational IT security, identifying potential risks, and developing strategies to mitigate them.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate the current state of operational IT security and identify potential risks
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks
- Collaborate with the IT Security Officer to ensure the implementation of effective security measures
- Develop and maintain IT security policies and procedures
- Develop and implement IT disaster recovery and business continuity plans
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in IT security, preferably in a federal agency
- Excellent knowledge of IT security principles and practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desirable Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience in evaluating and mitigating IT security risks
- Knowledge of IT security frameworks and standards
