At SAP, we're on a mission to help organizations accelerate their application development and unlock the value of their data. As an ABAP Developer, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of data modeling in the enterprise world.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Drive the full software development life cycle, from requirement gathering and analysis to implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Develop high-quality code in ABAP, leveraging agile methods like Scrum, test-driven development, and pair programming
- Consult and support internal and external customers, ensuring seamless data model transformations and near-zero downtime during SAP system upgrades
- Transform data models in the ABAP Dictionary into physical data models for the SAP HANA database
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a talented individual with a strong background in computer science, mathematics, or related fields. You should have excellent knowledge of object-oriented design and programming, as well as fluency in German (C1 level) and English. Experience with database systems, SQL, and relational databases is a plus, with SAP HANA knowledge preferred.
