Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at NETZSCH Group. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for ensuring the high quality of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test Planning and Execution: Plan and execute tests to ensure the functional and technical performance of our software solutions in connection with our laboratory equipment.
  • Integration Testing: Conduct and optimize tests for the integration of hardware and software to ensure seamless interaction between laboratory equipment and software.
  • Test Management: Responsibility for task and test management, including planning and documenting test cases, and coordinating further tests by application experts.
  • Collaboration with Development Teams: Close collaboration with development teams to analyze test results, identify bugs, and define corrective actions.
  • Issue Resolution: Point of contact for reported issues from internal departments; recording and prioritizing problems and coordinating solutions with developers.
  • Quality Improvement: Contributing to the continuous improvement of software quality through feedback and suggestions for enhancements.

Requirements

  • Education: Completed apprenticeship as an IT specialist or a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable qualification.
  • Experience: Several years of professional experience in software testing, preferably in the integration of hardware and software.
  • Additional Skills: Experience with laboratory equipment is an advantage; experience with Azure DevOps for task and test management is an advantage; basic knowledge of software development, ideally in the Microsoft.NET environment, is an advantage.
  • Soft Skills: Analytical thinking skills; structured and solution-oriented working approach; strong communication and teamwork skills; very good spoken and written English skills.

The position can also be filled in Poland.
