Job Description

Capgemini Insights & Data supports our customers in their development to a Insights Driven Enterprise. It includes the domains Cloud, Big Data, Analytics, Business Intelligence and Data Management. As Data Architect DataBricks (w/m/d) you design and create scalable infrastructures and systems with a focus on DataBricks Lakehouse Platform, Spark and Delta Lake.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable data architectures and systems using DataBricks Lakehouse Platform, Spark and Delta Lake.
  • Develop technological solutions for customer requirements in data-driven projects in the areas of Data Analytics Platform, Data Integration, Data Engineering, Data Streaming, Analytics, Data Mesh, Lakehouse.
  • Create cost estimates for architecture of solutions.
  • Present developed solutions to customers, highlighting used best practices and our expertise in the DataBricks area.
  • Lead your developer team in a technical manner and support in solution development.
  • Exchange with other specialists worldwide in our internal communities.
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a MINT study program or a comparable degree.
  • At least three years of experience in the implementation of Data Analytics projects with DataBricks.
  • Practical knowledge in the area of DataBricks Data Analytics, possibly certified by the DataBricks Data Engineer Associate certificate.
  • Programming knowledge in Python, Java or Scala.
  • Experience in the industries Automotive, Life Science, Manufacturing or CPG is an advantage.
  • Practical experience in leading teams in a technical manner is desirable.
  • Fluent German and English language skills and project-related travel readiness.
