Job Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage sales inquiries and provide expert advice to clients.
  • Liaise with the Operations Team to handle all booking aspects, including flights, ticketing, accommodation, tours, and activities.
  • Arrange and deliver high-quality, complex itineraries that meet client expectations.
  • Cross-sell and upsell Japan Experience services and products to clients.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by providing exceptional customer service and expert travel advice.
  • Manage sales and insurance contracts, and process client payments, refunds, and credit notes.
  • Provide expert travel advice on visa requirements, passports, and other travel-related matters.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer booking-related financial activities, including processing payments, refunds, and credit notes.
  • Deal with last-minute changes and issues, and provide solutions to client complaints.
  • Edit travel documents and ensure accuracy and completeness.

Requirements:

  • Equivalent to a college or university degree.
  • Eligible to work in Germany.
  • Advanced business conversational level in English.
  • Native or proficient in German for the Berlin office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of Japan, including prefectures, infrastructure, and attractions.
  • Awareness of Japanese culture and society.
  • Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with excellent presentation and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads, work towards KPIs, and solve problems effectively.
  • Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts.
