Job Title: Head of HR Global Operations

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of HR Global Operations to join our team at ZEISS Group. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR advisory services to our global MED Operations management team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with our organizational goals and drive employee engagement.
  • Steer strategic and operational HR decisions related to recruiting, people development, succession planning, performance management, and job evaluations.
  • Drive the development and implementation of HR processes and programs with global and regional scope, ensuring alignment with corporate priorities.
  • Manage interfaces to local HRBMs and central HR functions.
  • Drive harmonization and standardization of structures and process across all sites.

Requirements

  • Holds a relevant academic degree (e.g. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field and a Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred).
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Several years of proven experience as an HR Business Manager in the plant/shopfloor environment, with expertise in operational HR-related processes and tools.
  • Proven ability to work effectively and manage teams in a global, culturally diverse environment, with strong communication, collaboration, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical thinker with problem-solving and process improvement skills and the capacity to influence and engage at all levels within the organization with a focus on creating innovative HR solutions.
