We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join our portfolio company in Berlin and drive supply chain optimization strategies forward.

With a mission to unlock the vast potential of cross-border supply for the Western Market, they provide access to high-quality construction materials at a global scale through their innovative platform.

The company has successfully served hundreds of companies since its launch in January 2022, generating exponential growth towards profitability. Its distinct competitive advantage lies in organizing the supply chain through digital innovation, eliminating middlemen and embracing tech-first and AI solutions.

The platform's proprietary technology facilitates supply and demand matching while offering a comprehensive suite of services, including cloud inventory management, fulfillment solutions, and fintech capabilities. Since inception, the company has been at the forefront of construction material management, empowering businesses to thrive with a user-friendly experience.

The team currently consists of over 75 FTEs located across Germany, China, and India. The company is on track to achieve profitability and generate triple-digit million GMV.

Job Description

This role entails facilitating and overseeing transactions on the marketplace to ensure seamless trade between buyers and suppliers. You will collaborate with both parties to address any issues, inquiries, or challenges that may arise during the trading process.

  • Facilitate and oversee transactions on the marketplace to ensure smooth trading experiences
  • Collaborate with buyers and suppliers to resolve any issues or concerns
  • Stay informed about market trends, product demand, and industry dynamics to make informed trading decisions
  • Analyze trade data and provide insights to enhance trading strategies
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both buyers and suppliers to foster long-term partnerships
  • Address client concerns and work towards effective problem resolution
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on platform functionality
  • E nsure all trades comply with relevant regulations and internal policies
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus
  • Prior experience in Business Development, Sales, Key Account Management, or Account Management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent French language skills and strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • A basic understanding of national and international trade and supply chain management is a plus

Please note that eligibility to work within the EU is required.

Compensation Package

We offer an attractive base salary of €80,000 per year, which includes a performance-based bonus program up to 20% of your annual salary. Additionally, you will enjoy benefits such as collaboration with top-tier investors and angles, flexible working hours, and regular training opportunities.
