Professorship in Business Administration

We are seeking a highly qualified Professor of Business Administration to join our faculty at the Private University of Economics and Technology (PHWT) in Vechta. As a Professor, you will be responsible for teaching and research in the field of Business Administration, with a focus on at least two of the following areas:
- Business Management
- Agribusiness
- Logistics
- Digitalisation
- Software Engineering
- Artificial Intelligence
Our university offers degree apprenticeships in collaboration with over 200 companies in the region, providing opportunities for research and collaboration. As a Professor, you will be expected to represent your field in both research and teaching, and participate actively in the university's self-administration.
We are looking for a candidate with a strong academic background, a PhD, and relevant publications. In addition, we require at least 3 years of professional experience outside of academia. The appointment is subject to § 25 of the Lower Saxony Higher Education Act.
As a Professor at PHWT, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, with a strong focus on research and teaching. We encourage candidates who are prepared to learn German to apply, as German is the dominant language of tuition. However, lectures in fluent English are also possible.
