Postdoctoral Position at Uniklinik Freiburg

We are seeking a highly motivated PostDoc to join our translational research team at Uniklinik Freiburg. As a Postdoctoral Researcher, you will work in a multidisciplinary environment with clinicians, scientists, and bioinformaticians to advance our understanding of human diseases.

Project Overview

Our team is focused on developing innovative approaches to molecular biology, including next-generation sequencing and CRISPR/Cas9. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in biology or a related field and excellent publication record.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct independent research in molecular biology, including primary human cell and cell line isolation, cultivation, stimulation, and 3D cultures
  • Manage projects, including scheduling, deliverables, and reporting
  • Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to advance our research goals
  • Present and publish research findings in top-tier journals
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in biology or a related field with an excellent publication record
  • Experience in state-of-the-art molecular biology techniques, including next-generation sequencing and CRISPR/Cas9
  • Experience working with primary human cells and cell lines
  • Project management skills, including scheduling, deliverables, and reporting
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
