About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Terma. As a Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on prestigious projects and gain experience in various fields within the space and technology domain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop cutting-edge software solutions for our TEMU product, a full system simulator with instruction set simulation models for different processor architectures.
  • Model microprocessor instruction sets for the interpreter and dynamic binary translator components in TEMU.
  • Develop graphical user interfaces using Qt.
  • Collaborate with the team to drive the development and evolution of our software products.
Requirements
  • Strong understanding of computer architecture and microprocessors.
  • Familiarity with compilers, interpreters, and relevant frameworks (e.g. LLVM, MLIR).
  • Experience with hardware modeling and simulation in software.
  • Proficiency in low-level programming (e.g. OS kernel programming, bare metal programming).
  • Knowledge of GUI programming (e.g. Qt, other frameworks).
  • Familiarity with emulators and instruction set simulators.
  • Ability to work with large code bases (e.g. Linux Kernel, LLVM, GCC).
  • Programming languages: C, C++, Assembler, and ability to learn additional languages quickly.
  • Languages: Fluency in English required.
