Senior Data Consultant, Financial Services Expert

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Consultant to join our Financial Services team in Germany. As a key member of our Data and Analytics Practice, you will be responsible for driving the development of our Data Analytics Consulting services, focusing on Financial Services and Banking clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior-level clients and external partners to drive growth within our account portfolio.
  • Contribute to the development of our overall Data & Analytics offering and go-to-market strategy, ensuring it addresses the key strategic challenges of Financial Services and Banking clients.
  • Ensure compliance with data-related laws and regulations, mitigating risks and protecting our organization's reputation.
  • Collaborate with local and global technical and business data practices to advise clients on their Data & Analytics strategy and implementation.
  • Help clients maximize the value of their existing Data & Analytics projects, identifying solutions and services based on client needs, constraints, and strategies.
  • Work closely with project/program management to ensure successful delivery through an integrated delivery model.
  • Lead research and strategy creation, and sponsor the development of new Data & Analytics products or services to expand markets, monetize data, and grow company revenue.

Requirements

  • Expertise in big data architecture and technologies, and data delivery management.
  • Strong knowledge of key technologies: Informatica, Oracle, DWH, Big Data, Spark, Scala, HDFS, Kafka, Cloudera, ETL/ELT.
  • Excellent knowledge of data governance, data quality, data cataloging, data migration, and data mesh.
  • Proficiency in migration to cloud (preferably Google Cloud Platform - GCP).
  • Extensive experience developing and growing client relationships.
  • Ability to operate at the strategic level, yet being close enough to the details to add value to clients and be a real support to your team.
  • Experience of working with relevant delivery teams.
  • Confident in expressing points of view, making recommendations, and presenting analysis and recommendations where appropriate.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English.
