Job Summary
Nordex Group is seeking a highly skilled Service Engineer to join our team. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the creation and revision of exchange documents, including the development of exchange processes in CAD.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain exchange documents, including CAD processes, to ensure seamless communication with customers and stakeholders.
- Provide technical support to editors in the creation of documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop ad-hoc exchange concepts after turbine accidents.
- Support the development of new tool specifications, ensuring they meet safety and practicality standards.
- Conduct field validation of new service tools and their documentation.
- Ensure replacement concepts are implemented in new turbine generations.
Requirements
- Several years of relevant professional experience in the wind energy and/or maintenance industry, combined with sound technical knowledge.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience as a senior technician, supervisor, or commissioner.
- Knowledge of CAD tools Creo 4 Parametric or NX CAD is desirable.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work at great heights.
- Willingness to travel internationally.
