About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Testing and Commissioning Engineer (f/m/d) to join our team in Hennigsdorf. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing testing and commissioning of electrical motors and gearboxes to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform testing and commissioning of electrical motors and gearboxes to ensure they meet industry standards and specifications
  • Conduct functional tests, load tests, and performance evaluations to verify the proper operation of motors and gearboxes
  • Develop Testing & Commissioning procedures for sub-systems based on defined specifications to meet contractual requirements
  • Interface with Engineering and Verification & Validation subsystem leaders for optimizing site tests and sharing competent resources
  • Participate in Verification & Validation tests in lab, as per request, under the responsibility of the Verification & Validation Manager
  • Report on anomalies arising during site testing and interface with engineering team to close the anomaly

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering (preferably electronics or embedded systems) or equivalent and experience in Testing & Commissioning or Verification & Validation activities
  • Good knowledge of English and German (read, written, spoken)
  • Proficiency in MATLAB and Python for data analysis and automation in testing processes
  • Flexibility and mobility, available for short missions in different locations
  • An outside-the-box approach to testing
  • Resilience, with an analytic way of thinking to solve complex system failures
