Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Procurement Manager for Indirect Spend to join our team in Europe. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing selected product categories within indirect procurement, developing procurement strategies, and analyzing and optimizing procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage selected product categories within indirect procurement, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for selected product categories, aligning with business objectives and goals.
- Analyze and optimize procurement processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Partner with suppliers to develop and maintain a competitive pool of suppliers for selected product groups, ensuring compliance with contractual agreements.
- Ensure compliant contract life-cycle management, including contract approval and implementation.
- Manage the contract approval process, ensuring alignment with internal policies and procedures.
- Manage RFQ processes for selected categories, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Implement new laws or guidelines with suppliers, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Harmonize and improve procurement conditions within the TAKKT Industrial & Packaging Division, aligning with business objectives and goals.
- Improve processes and support the digitalization of indirect procurement within the division.
- Closely cooperate with consuming departments and legal to ensure alignment and compliance.
Requirements
- Fluency in German and English, with a good understanding of legal terms in both languages.
- At least 3 years of experience in procurement, with a focus on indirect spend categories.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Good communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
