About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ABAP Software Logistics Engineer to join our ABAP Release Engineering Services team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the assembly of ABAP components of both On-Premise and Cloud products. Your primary focus will be on building and providing deployable packages for our customers and operations teams in a reliable and high-quality manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble ABAP components for On-Premise and Cloud products
  • Work closely with development, quality management, release management, and central infrastructure teams
  • Involved in the whole development lifecycle, from planning to release to customer, and maintenance phase
  • Participate in process improvement projects to cover new requirements and team internal ideas for optimization

Requirements

  • Degree in computer science, engineering, natural science, or related subject
  • Methodical and independent working mode
  • Service attitude with a strong customer orientation
  • High sense of responsibility and reliability
  • Very good communication skills in German and English
  • 5+ years experience in ABAP software logistics including transportation management system (TMS)
  • Basic knowledge in one of the areas LINUX, or relational database management systems including SQL would be a plus
