Job Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the extension of our existing Python framework for index development. Key responsibilities include:

  • Enhancing the framework's capabilities for better scalability and efficiency
  • Code refactoring of current indices into up-to-date frameworks, ensuring they meet current standards and perform optimally
  • Supporting Python-based projects aimed at improving business processes, contributing to the automation, and streamlining of internal workflows
  • Interaction with stakeholders to gather and understand requirements, ensuring that technical and functional needs are addressed while providing regular project updates
  • Inclusion into BAU index management tasks and takeover of operational processes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Enrolled in computer science or finance-related studies
  • Advanced Python and basic SQL coding skills
  • Basic understanding of financial markets
  • Interest in developing knowledge for various financial instruments
  • Highly structured, independent, and precise working style
  • Experience with database systems and repository management tools (GitLab) is a plus
  • Strong command of English both spoken and written
