We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our esteemed Asset Strategy & Valuation team in Düsseldorf, where you will play a crucial role in optimizing and transforming Uniper's energy assets.

As an Asset Strategy Manager, you will maximize the value and drive the green transformation of Uniper's power stations and energy assets. Your focus will be on the German market, with projects across other Uniper markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze energy markets and assess financial impacts on Uniper's assets
  • Evaluate commercial performance based on technical scenarios and market sensitivities
  • Develop and execute strategies to maximize asset value and enable green transformations
  • Generate new ideas to enhance asset value based on market changes
  • Conduct financial evaluations and recommend investment opportunities and operational changes
  • Manage cross-functional projects to maximize asset value and support green transformation

Requirements:

  • University degree in engineering, energy economics, or related field
  • 5+ years in the energy sector
  • Experience in the commercial side of the energy sector and eagerness to learn more
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills for engineering and commercial topics
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Fluent in German (C1) and English; additional European languages (Swedish, Dutch, etc.) are a plus

The position is based in Germany with regular travel to German power stations, Düsseldorf headquarters, and occasional travel to other Uniper locations in Europe.
