HSE Safety Specialist Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled HSE Specialist to join our team at McBride, one of Europe's leading manufacturers of private label household and professional cleaning products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and continuously improving the company's HSE Management System at the site, supporting the site team to operate in compliance with industry standards and local legislative requirements.

• Facilitation & Support: Facilitate and support the site HSE Management System, ensuring standards and processes are fully understood and trained at all levels of the organization.
• Project Management: Identify specific projects or improvement opportunities that support a ZERO Harm and Loss mentality, running improvement projects to achieve this goal.
• Training & Coaching: Train and coach employees on HSE Processes and Procedures, educating them on the importance of safety and environmental management.
• Problem Solving: Assist colleagues in problem-solving, ensuring they are competent in using appropriate tools to identify and resolve issues effectively.

• Qualifications: Relevant local HSE qualification, NEBOSH Level 6 International Diploma for Occupational Health and Safety, or working towards it.
• Skills: Project management principles, knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, good communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

• A competitive salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
