Cyber Security Specialist

About the Role:
Festo is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and compliance of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cyber security standards and guidelines for our business unit.
- Coordinate and maintain cyber security standards throughout the development process, market launch, and product life cycle.
- Ensure employee competence in the Secure Development LifeCycle.
- Analyze and evaluate cyber security standards in the business unit.
- Advise and support the Incidents Case Manager in eliminating vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate the development, integration, update, maintenance, and market monitoring of reusable cyber security software components.
- Ensure cyber security compliance of our products through risk analysis, security reviews, and supporting the certification process.
- Responsibility for mimicking assessments, audits, training, etc., and coordinating regular reassessments of product risk analyses.
- Collaborate with security experts in the product lines.
- Advise developers on software BOM and commercial use of software libraries.
About You:
- Completed studies in the field of computer science (focus on cyber security) or comparable qualification or equivalent.
- Knowledge of standards and future regulations in the field of cyber security (e.g., IEC, ISO, EU Cyber Resilience ACT).
- Good process knowledge in the area of cyber security and experience in carrying out risk/threat analyses and risk management.
- High affinity and expertise in common cyber security mechanisms and algorithms as well as experience in their application in the context of automation technology.
- Awareness of systematic requirements management, architecture design, implementation, and testing in the field of software development.
- Business fluent in German and English.
- Strong analytical skills, structured and abstract thinking, very good teamwork skills, fun at work, and hands-on mentality.
