We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Labor Research Assistant to join our team at our Erkrath location.

As a Labor Research Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper, practical execution of laboratory tasks and activities under internal guidelines.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Filling and disposing of consumables
  • Cleaning microbiological safety workbenches, CO2 incubators, freezers, centrifuges, and other laboratory equipment
  • Verifying safety equipment
  • Preparing buffers and materials
  • Managing inventory and ordering supplies
  • Properly inactivating and disposing of laboratory waste
  • Maintaining and ensuring the quality management system (GMP)

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Is passionate about contributing to the development of new medicines
  • Has initial work experience or is looking for a new career start
  • Is interested in biotechnology and has a sense of curiosity
  • Is structured and goal-oriented
  • Has a strong sense of responsibility, can organize themselves well, and is reliable and flexible
  • Works well in a team
  • Has an interest in computer systems
  • Speaks German and some English
