About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team at SAP. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing AAS interfaces in Java-based microservices and integrating them into new and existing cloud products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and resolve issues in the adoption of AAS features, collaborating with colleagues, customers, and partners from different industries around the globe
  • Take over responsibility for specific topics, contributing to the team results by bringing in your own competencies and creativity
  • Come up with own ideas and realize innovative approaches in conformance with SAP's quality and security standards
  • Guide and support team members to ensure high-quality outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor or Master in Computer Science or a related field
  • 5+ years of work experience
  • Strong competence in Java or similar languages
  • Experience with cloud-native development
  • Expertise in agile development/SCRUM
  • Fluent in English (verbal/written)
