System Architect for Battery Systems

Key Responsibilities

As a System Architect for Battery Systems, you will be responsible for designing and developing system architectures for battery and PV systems. This includes analyzing customer needs, deriving requirements, and building and ranking potential solutions. You will also coordinate decision-making processes within the project team and implement solutions into our products.

The position requires a deep understanding of electrical energy storage systems, PV systems, and their integration. You will work closely with internal departments and external partners to identify and coordinate work packages, track cost figures, and optimize system performance.

Requirements
  • PhD or master's degree in electrical engineering, energy management systems, or a related field
  • Expert knowledge and experience in development of electrical energy storage systems technology, including coupling with PV systems, integrated batteries, charging systems, inverter technology, and e-mobility
  • Applied knowledge in life cycle management and familiarity with tools such as Siemens Polarion or Atlassian Jira
  • Language proficiency (C1 level) in English and German (B2 level)
