Our PositionWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Architect to contribute to challenging business cases and technical roadmaps from a mechanical perspective. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with customers, other architects, project managers, account managers, and the project team to ensure alignment and synergy. Your expertise will be essential in translating customer needs into specifications, defining mechanical architectures, budgets, and conceptual designs of subsystems.
Your Responsibilities- Translate customer needs into specifications and define mechanical architectures, budgets, and conceptual designs of subsystems.
- Specify tests and integration requirements to ensure the quality of delivered products.
- Lead by example and encourage team members to take ownership of their deliverables.
- Investigate theoretical working principles and apply them practically in projects.
- MSc or PhD in Mechanical or Mechatronical Engineering.
- Proven track record in Precision Mechanics within high-tech system and/or equipment design.
- At least 10 years of experience and expertise in the design of mechatronic and precision systems and equipment.
- Solid theoretical and practical knowledge of technical designs, mechanisms, precision mechanics, and Design for Excellence.
- Excellent analytical skills and levels of abstraction.
- Skilled in the use of various analysis methods.
- Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
