We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Underwriter to join our team at Hannover Re. As a Medical Underwriter, you will play a crucial role in gathering and communicating business requirements to our team, preparing and holding meetings, workshops, and training activities.
Key Responsibilities- Gather and communicate business requirements to the team
- Prepare and hold meetings, workshops, and training activities
- Coordinate and participate in knowledge sharing workshops with medical underwriters and international client project managers
- Build communities with international colleagues around knowledge base development to share knowledge and establish best practices
- Support the Knowledge Base team in the development of the rule set, using your experience of agile methodology
- Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in mathematics, physics, data science, medicine, or computer science
- Several years of experience in medical underwriting with an affinity for AUCS and ruleset development
- Experience in requirements engineering or a similar activity
- Experience in agile software development (Scrum/Kanban)
- English at a business fluent level and German at a conversational level
- Very good communication skills as well as an international mindset and willingness to go on occasional business trips
- Confident and service-oriented approach in dealing with internal and external stakeholders
