Logistics and Supply Chain Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics and Materials Manager to join our team at Clarios. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing inventory ordering, replenishment, and allocation practices to drive business growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce lead times.
  • Analyze and optimize transportation processes to improve delivery performance and reduce costs.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of computerized production and inventory control systems.
  • Supervise and execute inbound and outbound component orders, transportation, packaging, and customs clearance.
  • Direct purchasing activity for expense items and maintain contact with key vendors to ensure uninterrupted supply.
  • Direct warehousing activities and ensure adherence to governmental safety and health regulations and personnel policies.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in a materials management role within a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP and EDV systems.
  • Fluency in English and advanced level of German.
