Within BMW Group IT in Munich, we are responsible for the design, development, and operation of advanced applications for the global Sales Parts network. Our mission is to deliver cutting-edge IT solutions for BMW Sales Parts Warehouses, addressing the complex demands of one of the most efficient warehouse management systems in the automotive sector.
What you can expect:
- You will design, develop, and manage mission-critical applications as part of a dedicated feature team.
- You will oversee essential project management processes and documentation to guarantee successful project outcomes.
- You will collaborate with various teams to influence the evolution of our new IT landscape based on SAP S/4 HANA or refine our existing systems utilizing SAP ERP/EWM.
- Coordinating IT and provider resources to ensure timely delivery of high-quality, cost-effective projects will be part of your responsibilities.
- You will cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the assigned business processes, functions, roles, and regulations.
- In partnership with our business department, you will define logistics warehouse processes and implement these in state-of-the-art SAP S/4 HANA applications, including SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management), SAP TM (Transportation Management), or SAP ERP WM (Warehouse Management).
- You will engage with enthusiastic BMW teams worldwide to share knowledge and contribute to the future of BMW Group IT.
What you should bring:
- A university degree in Information Technologies, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Mathematics with a focus on IT or equivalent experience.
- Several years of experience in SAP implementation within warehouse management processes.
- Familiarity with modern software architecture and agile software development methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA EWM and/or WM/TM Modules.
- Ideally, proficiency in ABAP and the ability to troubleshoot issues.
- Experience in facilitating cross-functional workshops involving IT and business stakeholders.
- Proficient written and spoken skills in both German and English.
