Job Title: Heavy Vehicle Inspector

Description:

This position is responsible for performing inspections on a variety of multi-fuel self-propelled combat equipment and heavy wheeled vehicles. The inspector will conduct initial, in-processing, and final inspections, as well as diagnose mechanical, electrical, and material defects. The inspector will also estimate costs for man-hours and material, classify inspected equipment as to economically or uneconomically repairable, and inspect technical adequacy of completed repair work.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections on multi-fuel self-propelled combat equipment and heavy wheeled vehicles
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and material defects
  • Estimate costs for man-hours and material
  • Classify inspected equipment as to economically or uneconomically repairable
  • Inspect technical adequacy of completed repair work

Requirements:

  • Must be in possession of a German driver's license class CE and C1E
  • Physical Exam G20, G24, G25, G37, FEV-T
  • Master Mech/Service Tech desired
  • Office automation skills required
  • English Language Proficiency level B2 and German Language Proficiency level C1 required
