We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant IFRS to join our team in Cologne. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for our international subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing financial statements and ensuring the monthly close runs smoothly
  • Handling intercompany reconciliations and posting necessary entries
  • Managing provisions, accrual accounts, and importing data from external accounting systems
  • Providing support to auditors and resolving accounting issues
  • Working closely with other departments and subsidiaries

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration or further qualifications as a certified accountant
  • Several years of experience in finance and accounting, particularly with IFRS
  • Strong skills in MS Office (especially Excel) and SAP (nice-to-have), with a focus on the FI-AA module
  • Fluent English, both spoken and written – German (at least B1 needed) & Spanish is a big plus
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
