About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Python Data Engineer to join our team at RoomPriceGenie AG. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data architectures and ETL pipelines to support our growing business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data architectures and ETL pipelines using Python and Django
  • Work closely with our product and design teams to ensure seamless integration of data-driven insights into our product
  • Collaborate with our engineering team to evolve our architecture and engineering to support the ever-growing scale of users, features, and data
  • Develop and maintain a strong engineering culture within the team
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional development experience with Python
  • Strong experience in processing data and drawing insights from large data sets
  • Good familiarity with one or more libraries: pandas, NumPy, etc.
  • Experience working with and creating data architectures and ETL pipelines
  • Advanced understanding of Python development-related libraries such as Django
  • Excellent knowledge of software design principles
  • Great communication skills
  • High ownership skills
  • Team player, egoless and empathetic
  • You are fluent in English
  • You are based in European Time Zone (UTC+0 / UTC+2)
