Job Title: Solo Oboist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solo Oboist to join our orchestra in Bielefeld, Germany. As a key member of our ensemble, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of repertoire, from classical to contemporary works.

Responsibilities:

• Perform as a soloist and as a member of the orchestra in various concerts and events
• Participate in rehearsals and sectional rehearsals to prepare for performances
• Collaborate with other musicians and conductors to achieve high-quality performances
• Develop and maintain a high level of technical and musical skill through regular practice and professional development

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Oboe performance or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Solo Oboist
• Excellent technical and musical skills, with a strong focus on tone, intonation, and phrasing
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and conductors
• Strong organizational and time management skills
