At Ventus Technologies GmbH, we are seeking a skilled Meteorologist Intern to join our agile young team and contribute to the development of high-resolution weather data for mobility applications.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement physics and AI/ML based road weather models to optimize EV customer experience and improve vehicle safety for commercial trucks and autonomous vehicles.
- Assess the performance of weather models by comparing them with observed data from various sources.
- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate meteorological insights into predictive models.
- Utilize Python to manage, process, and analyze large-scale weather datasets efficiently.
- Ongoing master's degree in Meteorology, Climate Science, Earth Sciences, environmental engineering, or a related field.
- Strong experience in coding with Python.
- Knowledge and prior experience in working with meteorological data.
- Motivation and enjoyment of continuous learning.
- Passion for gaining hands-on experience with technological projects.
- Fluent in English.
