Waste Water Treatment Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Process Engineer to join our team at Siegfried. As a Process Engineer - Waste Management, you will be responsible for assisting the leadership of our Environmental Protection Laboratory and Sewage Treatment Plant. This will include providing support to the plant manager and coordinating tasks related to laboratory organization, as well as collaborating with the waste management and sewage treatment team.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and maintain the sewage treatment plant to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Optimize and maintain online analytical equipment.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external authorities and sewage treatment facilities.
- Develop and implement projects to improve the efficiency of the sewage treatment plant.
- Conduct research and development of alternative treatment processes, including laboratory and pilot-scale testing.
- Collaborate with the research and development team to identify and implement new technologies and processes.
- Develop and maintain the wastewater catalog.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as chemical engineering, environmental engineering, or process engineering.
- Extensive knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and technologies.
- Strong understanding of organic chemistry and process engineering principles.
- Desirable: advanced knowledge of wastewater and sludge analysis.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
