Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chemical Laboratory Manager to lead our Chromatography team. As a key member of our Consumer Products Services team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the laboratory, ensuring the quality and accuracy of our analytical results, and providing technical guidance to our team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the activities of the Chromatography team, including planning, organizing, and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our analytical results.
- Provide technical guidance and training to team members on chromatography techniques and instrumentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new analytical methods and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Develop and manage budgets and resources for the laboratory.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and regulatory agencies.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in analytical laboratory management, with a focus on chromatography.
- Strong knowledge of chromatography techniques and instrumentation, including GC-MS, GC-MS/MS, LC-MS, and LC-MS/MS.
- Experience in managing and leading teams, with a focus on developing and implementing quality control procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
