At Q CELLS, we're seeking a talented Energy Market Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our trading department, you'll play a crucial role in driving our business forward.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models for wholesale markets to inform our trading strategies.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of energy market trends and patterns to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Process and analyze large datasets to support portfolio evaluations and risk management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop strategic analyses and identify new market opportunities.
  • Ensure the efficient and secure handling of market data and analysis.
  • Support the trading and portfolio management department with data-driven insights and recommendations.
  • Administer and monitor trading data to inform business decisions.
  • Work closely with Data Vendor Management to acquire and integrate market data.
Your Profile:
  • Hold a degree in Business Administration, Natural Sciences, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and planning skills.
  • Have experience in analysis and/or the energy industry, particularly in market observation and price evaluation.
  • Be proficient in mathematical evaluation methods and modeling, as well as commodity trading.
  • Have experience in data management in commodity markets and comprehensive IT knowledge, including programming skills.
  • Be proficient in programming languages such as Python, Spark, SQL, and API development.
  • Understand database architecture and RDBMS concepts, including schema design.
  • Excel in both German and English communication.
