Supply Chain Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Operations Manager to join our portfolio company in Berlin, Germany. This individual will play a crucial role in supporting the company's logistics growth and ensuring smooth business operations.
Our portfolio company is a trailblazing supply chain platform that has revolutionized the way large construction material orders are sourced, distributed, and financed. The company aims to unlock the vast potential of cross-border supply for the Western Market by providing access to high-quality construction materials at a global scale through its innovative platform.
The platform uses digital innovation to organize the supply chain, eliminating middlemen and embracing tech-first and AI solutions. This creates a seamless connection between suppliers and buyers, facilitating supply and demand matching while offering a comprehensive suite of services, including cloud inventory management, fulfillment solutions, and fintech capabilities.
The company has been at the forefront of construction material management since its inception, helping companies access high-quality materials efficiently and cost-effectively. The platform provides a user-friendly experience empowering businesses to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate global transportation of goods and ensure prompt deliveries based on customer needs
- Manage communication with third parties to ensure smooth business operations
- Open new trade lanes by finding new partners across the globe
- Create strong, reliable, and long-term relationships with customers through quality work and clear communication
- Collaborate closely with customer success, procurement, product management, growth, and engineering teams
- Use cutting-edge technology on Salesforce for logistics management
- Improve and grow daily on a personal level, push for operational excellence
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in supply chain and logistics management
- Data-driven with proficiency in using KPIs and CRM systems (Salesforce)
- Experience optimizing costs while maintaining operational excellence
- Fluent in French (German is a huge plus)
- Scaled logistics operations across different countries
- Strong commercial mindset
- Independent, collaborative, and able to take significant responsibility
- Entrepreneurial and hands-on, fast-paced is in your DNA
- Strong communicator, comfortable with different stakeholders
Please note that eligibility to work within the EU is required for this role.
Salary and Benefits:This position offers an attractive salary package with a base salary of €80,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a bonus and incentive program. You will also have opportunities to participate in the company's upside and collaborate with top-tier investors such as Project A Ventures and Angels.
